1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. sifted regular flour 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 tsp. vanilla Combine corn syrup, sugar and butter in a saucepan. Cook while stirring until mixture comes to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in flour and walnuts. Stir until well blended. Add vanilla; mix well. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Drop by teaspoon 3" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet. |
