CRISCO POUND CAKE 
1 c. Crisco, butter flavored
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butternut flavoring

Cream Crisco and sugar. Blend in milk. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, a little at a time. Add remaining ingredients. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 300 degrees.

This pound cake is delicious!! I used 2 teaspoons of baking powder, the half teaspoon in the recipe just seemed wrong. Used regular buttermilk instead of milk. The cake rose super high, light and fluffy. Baked at 325°F instead of 300°F. Served with blueberries and cool whip. Highly recommend this recipe with my changes.
