TANGY MARINATED BROCCOLI 
3 bunches broccoli
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. whole dried dill weed
1 tsp. pepper
Lemon slices (opt.)

Trim off large leaves of broccoli. Remove stalks, separate into flowerets and wash thoroughly. Drain and place in a large shallow container; set side. Combine remaining ingredients (except lemon slices), mixing well; pour over broccoli. Toss gently to coat. Chill at least 24 hours, stirring several times. Garnish with lemon slices. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
