ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE 
Approximately 2 lbs. fresh asparagus
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
Grated Cheddar cheese
4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 tbsp. flour
Bread crumbs

Cut asparagus in 2-inch pieces. Cook until crisp and tender. Put into 7x11 inch dish. Cover with chopped eggs.

Make cream sauce with the butter, flour and milk. Pour over the asparagus and eggs. Sprinkle with seasoned or plain bread crumbs. Top with grated cheese or sprinkle cheese over eggs. Dot with butter. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 15-30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes to brown.
