FRUIT 'N NUT SQUARES (SUGARLESS) 
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/2 c. pitted prunes, chopped
1/2 c. pitted dates, chopped
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

On sheet of waxed paper sift together the flour, baking soda and cinnamon; set aside. In 3 quart saucepan over medium high heat, bring water, prunes, dates and raisins to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Add butter and stir until melted; cool completely. Stir in beaten eggs, vanilla and chopped walnuts. Add dry ingredients. Stir until well blended. Pour into a greased 9"x9"x2" pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cut into 2 1/4" squares.
