"NEVER FAIL" 7 MINUTE FROSTING 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla or almond)

Combine sugar, water and vinegar in saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring only until sugar is melted. Boil until mixture spins a thread (a good one). Beat egg whites stiff. Pour syrup over slowly while still beating. Do not scrap pan! continue beating until thick enough to spread.
