HEALTHY CAROB CHIP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. honey
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. carob chips

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Sift in next 2 ingredients. Add nuts and carob chips; mix well. Roll in small balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Yields 1 dozen.

These cookies are delicious. I wonder, though, what is the calorie count. I needed a recipe that would help with the non chocolate or white flour diet I need to follow. Chocolate chip cookies were always my favorite. These are even better.

Delicious - especially for a healthy cookie!! I used 1/4 cup olive oil instead of butter and 1/2 cup wheat and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. I also added coconut. Will definitely make again.

This recipe is great!!! I substituted half whole wheat flour and half unbleached flour, I also added an organic egg. I used teaspoonfuls of dough for 10 minutes at 350°F. It made about 2 1/2 dozen. So easy soooo good. I will definitely make these again.
