3 c. ground Vanilla Wafers
1 c. ground pecans
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/3 to 1/2 c. sherry or bourbon
1 c. XXXX Confectioner's sugar

Grind Vanilla Wafers and pecans fine in food chopper. Mix thoroughly with remaining ingredients. Shape into balls the size of big cherries. Dust with additional XXXX Confectioner's sugar. Chill well. These are confections rather than cookies. Flavor improves with age.
