DUANE'S BOURBON BALLS 
1 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1/4 c. bourbon
Assorted colored sugars

Combine wafers and confectioners' sugar with pecans and cocoa. Add syrup and bourbon. Add a bit of sugar to thicken consistency, if necessary. Form into walnut sized balls. Roll in colored sugar. Let dry on cooling rack several hours before packing in airtight container. Keeps well. Can also be frozen.
