GARDEN RELISH 
1 sm. head cabbage
1 cucumber
1 green pepper
1 med.carrot
3 green onions or 1 large onion
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Garlic powder
Celery seed

Cut cabbage into bite size pieces. Peel cucumber, slice thin, cut pepper into strips. Cube carrots, dice onions. Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and seasonings. Pour over the vegetables. Keeps well. Tastes better after it has been marinated a day or two. (1 cut this in half and made enough for eight servings.)
