TEXAS CASSEROLE 
2 lb. hamburger
2 tbsp. butter
Salt & pepper to taste
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
2 c. diced Cheddar cheese
4 green onions, chopped
1 sm. can cream of mushroom soup
1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
4 cloves garlic
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar

Saute hamburger and garlic in butter for 20 minutes. Add tomato sauce; simmer 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Combine cream cheese, onions and sour cream. Alternate layers of noodles, hamburger mixture and cream cheese mixture in a large buttered casserole. Repeat layers at least twice. Add cheese. Top with mushroom soup. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
