FRESH APPLE PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. water
1 (9 inch) pie shell
5 average size apples; peeled, cored & thinly sliced
1 1/2 tbsp. butter

In large bowl mix well sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Put apples slices into bowl and stir until well coated with sugar mixture. Place apples in pie shell, sprinkle water on top. Dot with butter. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in preheated 450 degree oven.
