4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. applesauce

Mix all ingredients. Chill dough 1/2 hour. Drop by teaspoon into hot oil. (Do not make too big or they will get doughy.) As they cook, they will turn themselves. Roll in sugar and cinnamon.
