OATMEAL BREAD 
1 c. oats
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. dry yeast
5 c. flour
2 c. boiling water for oatmeal

Put out in water, let stand 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add next 3 ingredients, mix well. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Let rise covered until doubled in bulk. Beat until smooth. Place in 2 greased loaf pans. Let rise until doubled.

Bake on 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until bread tests done. Slice thinly; cut into triangles for canapes.

NOTE:

HONEY BUTTER - 100
1/4 lb. butter
3 c. honey
2 tsp. salt

Have butter at room temperature. Cream until light. Add honey and salt.
