FAT RASCALS 
1 c. mashed potatoes
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. milk
8 oz. American or cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Salad oil

Combine all except oil; mix well. Pour 2 inches salad oil in pan and heat. Drop by tablespoons 4 or 5 at a time in hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Serve immediately.
