LAYERED PEA SALAD 
3 c. Romaine lettuce, broken up
Dash of salt and pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
1/2 lb. cooked and crumbled bacon
3 c. torn leaf lettuce
1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
3/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. chopped green onions

Put Romaine lettuce in bottom of large serving bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and sugar. Top with 1 cup cheddar cheese. Add hard-boiled egg slices, onion. Sprinkle with half your bacon. Add 3 cups of torn leaf lettuce. Add peas. Spread mayonnaise over mixture. Cover and chill.

After chilled, prior to serving, add remaining cheese and bacon.
