1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 lb. butter
1 box light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. cake flour
5 whole eggs
1 tsp. flavoring
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped & mixed in 1/4 c. extra flour

Mix as any other pound cake. Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
