1 box white Betty Crocker cake mix
2 sticks butter
2 pkg. chopped walnuts
1 can Cornstock cherry pie filling or 1 lg. can fruit cocktail

Pour cherry pie filling in bottom of oblong pan 8 1/2 x 12. Spread evenly. Pour dry cake mix over pie filling, spread evenly.

Cut butter in cubes and place in over cake mix. Sprinkle walnuts over top of butter evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until brown on top and bubbling.
