TEXAS PECAN PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. pecan halves

Mix sugar, corn syrup and melted butter. Add well beaten eggs and pecans. Fill pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
