I'm so glad to find this recipe. I've been looking for my Aunt Essie's recipe which went to the grave with her. This sounds similar. Her candy had a crumbly inside with peanut butter flavor, was rolled in about 3/4" diameter balls and dipped in melted butterscotch chips. My mother said she thought she used cornflakes in it. This is the closest thing I've found to what I remember and my mother described, so I'll give it a try. Essie made these for the family at Christmas along with her other specialties, Martha Washington Candy and creamed candy (pulled mints.) Thanks!

Recipe I use calls for 1/2 lb. crushed graham crackers instead of cereal.
