1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sour milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cornmeal (yellow)
1 c. flour

Mix the sugar and egg together. Add the cooled, melted butter, soda, salt, baking powder and stir well. Add 1 cup flour and stir, then add 1 cup cornmeal. Bake about 25 minutes at 425 degrees.
