SMOTHERED CHICKEN AND CORN | |
1 doz. ears fresh corn 1 cut up fryer 1 c. celery 1 c. bell pepper 1 c. onions 1 c. water or milk 1 lg. cut up tomato Strip corn from cob with sharp knife. Clean and cut fryer into small parts, then season well. Fry in thick pot until browned. Drain excess fat. Over lower fire, add celery, onions, pepper and corn and fresh tomato. Stir well. Then add liquid, cover and cook for 1/2 hour or until tender. |
