CRANBERRY BANANA FREEZE 
1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 med. apple, pared, cored & grated
2 med. bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. Cool Whip

Beat cranberry sauce until smooth, stir in grated apple. Pour into 9" square pan. Fold bananas, vanilla and half the nuts into Cool Whip. Spread over cranberry layer. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Freeze until firm. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Personally, I like it frozen and do not take it out of the freezer until ready to serve.
