CRABMEAT AU GRATIN 
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 green pepper, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
2 c. crabmeat
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of ground nutmeg
1/2 c. sharp shredded cheese
Buttered bread crumbs

Melt butter; add pepper on onion; cook for 5 minutes. Add flour and milk, then crab meat, salt and nutmeg. Cook 10 minutes. Pour in shallow buttered dish, or crab shells. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and buttered bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is brown. 4 to 6 servings.
