BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran cereal
1 qt. buttermilk

Pour boiling water over All Bran; let stand to cool. Next, cream together sugar and shortening. Mix in eggs. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, sifted together. Add bran, buttermilk and cooled All Bran mixture. Mix all together. Bake in muffin tins for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.

Mixture may be stored in refrigerator for 3 months in closed container.
