LAYERED ANGEL FOOD CAKE | |
1 angel food cake 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange-pineapple gelatin 1 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream 1 can crushed pineapple, drained 1 can mandarin oranges, drained Divide angel food cake into 3 sections. Place in 3 bowls; crumble into small pieces. Sprinkle 1 package gelatin into each bowl. Mix until gelatin sticks to cake. Place strawberry gelatin cake in large tube pan; add strawberries. Add 1/3 of ice cream; add lime gelatin cake. Spread pineapple over cake. Add 1/2 remaining ice cream. Add orange-pineapple gelatin cake; add oranges. Spread remaining ice cream over top; freeze for 1- 2 days. Slice and serve. |
