PORCUPINE BALLS 
1 lb. ground meat
1 beaten egg
2/3 c. rice
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. pork sausage
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 1/2 c. water

Mix meats. Add egg, milk, rice and 1/2 salt. Form into 1 1/2 inch balls and brown in hot fat.

Combine tomatoes, other 1/2 salt, water and onion. Bring to a boil. Drop meat balls into mixture. Cover and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
