4 c. thinly sliced peeled apples
1/4 c. raisins
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. quick oats
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Combine apples and raisins. Toss with lemon juice. Stir together 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg; sprinkle over apples. Toss gently to coat. Place in 1 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, stir together oats, flour, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over apple mixture. Return to oven and bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes more or until apples are tender. Serve warm with milk, ice milk, or yogurt. Makes 4 servings.
