PERFECT CORN BREAD | |
1 c. flour 1 c. yellow corn meal 1/4 c. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/4 c. cooking oil 1 c. milk Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt; stir in corn meal. Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat with rotary or electric beater until smooth, about 1 minute. Do not over beat. Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
