PERFECT RAM BAND CORN BREAD 
1 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. yellow corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening

Mix flour with sugar, powder and salt; stir in corn meal. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Beat just until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour into greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake in hot oven 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Corn bread sticks: Spoon batter into greased corn stick pans, fill 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
