PERFECT CORN BREAD 
1 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. corn meal
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and corn meal. Add eggs, milk, shortening and beat until smooth. Pour into greased 10 inch skillet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 425 degrees.
