POPCORN CAKE | |
4 qts. popped corn 1 c. diced gum drops 1 c. dry roasted peanuts 1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows 1/2 stick butter 1/4 c. oil Place butter, oil, marshmallows in microwave on high for two minutes until slightly melted; then stir and put back on high until really creamy. Then mix all ingredients together. Lightly oil tube pan. Press popcorn into pan until packed tightly. Set in refrigerator for about five minutes. Remove from refrigerator. Use knife around sides and pull out of tube pan. NOTE: Use green and red gum drops for Christmas cake and multi colored gum drops for a spring time look. This cake will keep for a long time. |
