LAYERED MINT CHOCOLATE FUDGE | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. white confectioner's deluxe baking pieces 1 tsp. peppermint extract 1 drop green or red food coloring (optional) In heavy pan over low heat, melt chips with 1 cup milk. Add vanilla. Put half of mixture onto waxed paper. Spread in bottom of 8- or 9-inch square pan. Chill until firm. Keep rest of chocolate at room temperature. In heavy pan over low heat, melt white baking pieces with rest of milk. (Will be thick.) Add extract and food coloring, if desired. Spread on chocolate layer. Chill until firm. Spread rest of chocolate mixture on mint layer. Chill 2 hours, or until firm. |
