1 head lettuce, shredded
2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1 pkg. frozen green peas
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. cheddar cheese, grated
12 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

Place lettuce in bowl until about half full. Layer with other vegetables in order given. Combine mayonnaise, Miracle Whip and sugar together. Add lemon juice and pour evenly over top of vegetables.

Be sure mayonnaise mixture seals edges - this keeps lettuce crisp. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Toss and serve. Serves 12.
