LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn
1/2 c. diced pepper (or more)
1 c. diced celery
4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 diced sm. onion
1 box frozen uncooked peas
8 to 10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
2 c. salad dressing
3 tbsp. sugar
4 to 6 oz. grated sharp cheese

Use a 9 x 13 inch glass or plastic dish. Layer in order given. Put the salad dressing on like you would frosting. Cheese last. Wrap with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight. Serves 12.
