FRANK AND SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE | |
1 sm. chopped onion 2 tbsp. oil 1 can sauerkraut, well drained 1 lb. hot dogs, cut into 1 inch pieces 1 peeled apple, sliced 1 c. applesauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce Fry onion on oil until golden brown. Mix with sauerkraut. Spread half the hot dogs in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Place sauerkraut mixture over hot dogs. Arrange remaining hot dogs over sauerkraut. Top with apple slices. Combine applesauce and tomato sauce, pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. |
