CORN DOGS (MONTANA STYLE) 
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 egg
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
10 to 16 hot dogs
Oil for frying

In bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, egg, paprika, mustard, and pepper. Pour mixture into a tall glass. Poke hot dogs with sticks. Dip in mixture and deep fat fry at 375 degrees until brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Yields 10 to 16 hot dogs.
