CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter
2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
4 eggs
6 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips

Cream together the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add milk, then the flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt which have been sifted together. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful unto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until light brown, about 12-15 minutes.

Note: I always use milk chocolate chips.
