CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUE COOKIES | |
2 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips Beat egg whites, vanilla, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar until mixture is stiff and glossy. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop from a teaspoon onto a baking sheet lined with brown paper. Bake at 300 degrees for about 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 2 dozen cookies. |
