BUTTER CRESCENTS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. quick oatmeal

Cream butter, add sugar and blend. Add vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Roll dough into circles; cut into triangles, roll into crescent shape from wide end to narrow; line up in close rows on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Shake in powdered sugar. Makes 6 to 7 dozen, depending on size.
