DEVILED CRAB | |
WHITE SAUCE: 1/4 c. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk Mix butter, flour and milk together for white sauce. 2 hard boiled eggs, mashed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce A few drops Texas Pete 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. parsley 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. cracker crumbs 2 tbsp. minced red peppers 2 tbsp. minced green peppers 1 med. onion, grated Melt butter in double boiler, add flour to make a white sauce. Add all other ingredients. Add crab meat last. Stuff in clean crab shells and bake just until solid at 400 degrees approximately 20 minutes. If you make them real big, cook them 30 minutes. |
