SAUSAGE SQUARES FOR BRUNCH 
1 lb. hot sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
1 egg, beaten
Dash of Tabasco
1 1/2 tsp. salt (or less)
1 tbsp. parsley flakes

Cook sausage and onions. Add other ingredients (this may be done the day before and refrigerated).

BATTER:

2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. mayonnaise

Pour half of batter into buttered oblong Pyrex dish. Add the sausage mixture, then remaining batter. Brush the top with beaten egg yolk. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Cut in squares.
