ANISE COOKIES 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. anise oil

Beat eggs until light creamy color. Slowly add sugar, then oil. Slowly add flour and mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. (Use this cookie sheet for these cookies only.) Do not bake the next day.

Bake at 350 degrees for 5-6 minutes. Store cookies in tight container. Do not mix with other cookies.

I'm just wondering what the reason is for not using the cookie sheet for anything else. My mother used to make these cookies and her's always had a little cap in the middle (kind of looked like sunny-side up fried egg) but mine just come out smooth all over. They are delicious but my recipe calls for baking at 325°F for 10 minutes. I do leave them sit out all night before baking. They are my favorite Christmas goody.
