WALNUT COFFEE RING
1 recipe overnight refrigerator rolls (3 coffee rings)

Combine:

1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tbsp. corn syrup

Mix in saucepan. Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves. On a well floured board, roll 1/3 of dough into a narrow oblong, 1/3 inch thick. Spread with butter-sugar mixture; sprinkle with 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts. Roll dough in jelly roll fashion, seal edges firmly and shape into a ring on a greased cookie sheet. Place a greased custard cup in center of ring. With a sharp knife, make 1 inch deep slashes in top of dough at 2 inch intervals. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in bulk, about 1 hour. Remove custard cup. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. While warm spread with glaze. Makes 10 servings.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. vanilla or maple flavor

Beat together.
