BANANA CORNBREAD 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 bananas, mashed
2 2/3 tbsp. warm water
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Make well in the center. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until blended. Oil only the bottom of an 9 x 12 inch baking pan. Pour batter into pan and spread to edges. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yields: 9 servings.
