BUTTER NUT POUND CAKE | |
3 c. sugar 1 c. butter 1/2 c. Crisco 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. butter nut flavoring 5 eggs 3 1/4 c. flour 2/3 c. evaporated milk + enough water to make 1 c. Cream sugar, salt and shortenings until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each. Alternately add flour and milk. Add flavoring. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. |
