BUTTER--NUT POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 1/2 c. Crisco 2 c. sugar 5 eggs, (one at a time) 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. liquid (1/4 c. water & 3/4 c. cream) 3 c. flour 2 tbsp. Butternut flavoring Blend butter and Crisco together. Add sugar, eggs (one at a time), salt, and 1 cup liquid. Alternate liquid and 3 cups of flour. Add Butter-Nut flavoring. Pour in a greased pan. Start in a cold oven and bake for 1 hour 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Note: Flavor is McCormick's Imitation Vanilla Butter & Nut Flavor. |
