BACON AND EGG CASSEROLE | |
8 slices buttered bread, crusts removed 10-12 eggs 1/2 lb. diced bacon 3/4 lb. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt Grease 9x13 pan. Cover bottom with buttered bread. Beat eggs, add and mix with milk, cheese and bacon. Pour over bread in pan. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees uncovered. You may add cut up peppers, mushrooms or sausage if desired. Serves 12. |
