PINEAPPLE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. crushed pineapple
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Cream 10 minutes at high speed. Add pineapple alternately with flour and salt. Add flavoring. Grease and flour pan. Bake in cold oven, set at 350 degrees, for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
