This is the best frosting recipe I have come across, so far. I did make some modifications, however. I used 3 cups of confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening, and 1 tbsp milk. The consistency and flavor were excellent!

I was trying to figure out how to make quick frosting and I found this and it was OK in the beginning but it now tastes AMAZING. I just don't like the amount of frosting it makes.

This recipe is no fuss, no muss and super easy! My mixer blades, unfortunately, gave out just at the end so I placed it in the refrigerator to give it some time to thicken! Thank you so much!!!

What I like the most about this recipe, is that it's easily modifiable, and you can make as much or as little as you require just by adjusting the ingredients. I for one like to substitute butter with margerin, then add in fresh pressed fruit juices for natural coloring and flavor. You havn't lived until you tasted watermelon or strawberry banana frosting!!
